How it works
How it works

Three steps to a ready-to-post short.

01 · Upload

Drop the video, add context

Drag in your analysis video. The channel link gives the AI context, so the creator's name and trading terms come out right in the captions.

02 · AI analyzes & cuts

Find the moments, cut them clean

The AI reads the transcript AND listens to the audio track: it finds the strongest moments, only cuts on real speech pauses, and writes a hook title plus a virality score for every clip.

03 · Select & export

Fine-tune in the editor

Pick the best candidates, adjust captions, hook, template and framing in the editor, then export ready-to-post 9:16 shorts for TikTok, Reels & YouTube.

Why us

Plenty of clipping tools out there.
Only one is built for trading.

Marquee runs on its own clipping algorithm, developed specifically for trading and crypto content. Generic AI clippers hunt for the loudest moment and cut by template. That tears apart exactly what makes an analysis valuable: the number, the reasoning, the context. Marquee reads your video the way a trader would, so every short makes sense on its own.

Fixes the words speech-to-text gets wrong

Transcription mangles coin names, tickers and chart jargon. Marquee corrects them, so your captions say what you actually said.

"Mac D" → MACD "Wig" → Wick "CBD" → CVD "So Lana" → Solana
  • 02

Cuts along the structure of your analysis

A short take becomes one clip, a long breakdown gets split by sub-topic. Every clip carries the full arc, intros and side remarks get trimmed.

    price → method → finding → conclusion
  • 03

The number that matters is locked in

Price levels, targets and percentages are protected by a hard rule in the code. Any cut that would remove one gets blocked.

    ✂ blocked · "target 88,000 $"
  • 04

Cuts on real pauses, filler gone

Cuts only land where you actually took a breath. Filler sounds, stutters and doubled words are removed automatically.

"hmm" "the the" → the never mid-word
  • 05

Hooks and visuals that speak trading

Every clip gets a hook matching its type, plus the right logo for 200+ coins, stocks, indices and commodities.

The playbook

Shorts aren't the product.
They're the funnel.

Nobody learns a trading strategy from a 60-second clip. A short has one job: make a scroller curious enough to open the full video. What compounds is volume: more hooks in the feed, more doors into your channel.

  • 01

    Reach is a numbers game

Nobody can predict which moment breaks out. Ten shorts are ten shots at it, one polished short is one.

  • 02

    Spark interest, don't lecture

A sharp hook beats a compressed course. The short raises the question, your video answers it.

  • 03

    Make volume cost nothing

Editing every short by hand caps how many you post. Marquee turns one upload into a stack of ready-to-post clips in minutes.

Your alternatives

Four ways to get shorts out.
Here's what each one costs.

Estimated for one typical month: 4 analysis videos, 12 shorts, 100,000 views.

Alternative 1

Paying clippers

$100 to $600

At $1 to $6 per 1,000 views. The bill grows with every view.

  • No work on your side
  • Views and followers build their accounts, not yours
  • Strangers decide how your calls get cut
Alternative 2

Hiring an editor

$300 to $900

At $25 to $75 per short from a freelance editor.

  • A human eye on every cut
  • Takes days, and a market take ages fast
Alternative 3

Cutting it yourself

About 3 hours

At about 15 minutes per short. Free in dollars, paid in time.

  • Full control over every frame
  • Few clips get made, so fewer shots at reach
Marquee

One upload, done

About $12

4 videos at about 34 credits each. Same price at any view count.

  • A stack of clips, minutes after you upload
  • Views and followers build your own channel
  • You review and edit every clip before it goes out

Estimates, not quotes. Clipper and editor rates are public 2026 market ranges for finance and crypto content and vary by campaign and freelancer. The Marquee figure assumes 20-minute videos with 5 requested clips and 3 exports each, at the Starter pack rate.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Which videos work best?

Trading and crypto analysis videos with a facecam and charts, from about 5 minutes up: market breakdowns, trade setups, forecasts and hot takes. The clearer the statements in the video (price targets, levels, decisions), the stronger the clips.

How long does the analysis take?

It depends on the video length. A 15-minute video is fully analyzed within a few minutes, with live progress along the way.

Do my videos stay private?

Yes. Your video is processed on Marquee's own server, not by a third-party video service. The upload is deleted right after transcription, preview files within 24 hours. Only the transcript text is sent to the AI for analysis.

Can I edit the clips afterwards?

Yes. Every clip opens in a full editor: adjust captions word by word, change the hook title, switch templates and colors, set the framing for facecam and chart, then export as a 9:16 MP4.

What does it cost?

Billing works in credits: 1 credit per minute of video analysis, plus 1 credit per requested clip (slots the AI can't fill are refunded) and 3 credits per exported Short. Editing is free.

Why is payment USDT only?

Honest answer: we're a small independent team, and card processors add fees, chargebacks and subscription infrastructure that don't fit a pay-per-use tool at these amounts. USDT settles in seconds on TRON or Polygon at low fees, and 1 USDT is roughly 1 US dollar. If you've never used it, any major exchange app can send it in about a minute. And you don't have to trust us blind: the FIRSTCUT credits are free, so you see your own clips before any money moves.

Can't I just do this with ChatGPT or my own AI?

Partly. A chat AI is genuinely good at one step: reading a transcript and pointing at strong moments. Everything after that is still on you: cutting the video, styling captions, reframing facecam and chart into 9:16, adding the hook, exporting, and repeating all of it for every clip of every upload. Marquee is that missing rest: the same class of AI, wired into a cutting pipeline tuned on trading footage, plus a full editor for the final touch. Honest test: ask your AI what it would realistically take to turn a 40-minute analysis into 8 coherent shorts, every single week, by hand.

How is this different from OpusClip and other AI clippers?

Generic clippers are built for talking-head podcasts, and trading analysis breaks them in specific ways: auto-reframe crops to the speaker's face and cuts away the chart, cuts tear sentences apart so the price target lands outside the clip, and captions mangle tickers and numbers. Marquee is built only for this content type: the chart always stays in frame next to the facecam, cuts snap to real speech pauses and never orphan a number or level, and hooks are written in trading language. To be fair, the big generalists still lead on ecosystem features like B-roll, and automatic posting to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube is on our roadmap. We win on clips you can actually post. Run one of your videos through both and count the usable clips.

Which formats are supported?

Upload MP4, MOV or WEBM up to 4 GB. Videos on YouTube can be downloaded in YouTube Studio first. Exports come as 9:16 MP4, ready for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
